
GoldBet Entertainment appoints new CEO
Michele Sprovieri steps up to top job at Maltese subsidiary of Austrian Group, GoldBet Holding AG as former chief executive Tim Parker leaves.

GoldBet Entertainment Limited, the Maltese licenced casino and games operator of the Austria-based GoldBet Group, has named Michele Sprovieri as its new CEO and key official to replace outgoing chief executive Tim Parker, eGaming Review has learned.
Sprovieri began his new role in Malta on 20 November 2014 having previously served as group CTO for more than two years, as well as sportsbook product manager and live betting director.
He told eGR that his main objectives will be to expand Goldbet’s online sportsbook and gaming operations in Malta.
“During the last few years the company has been performing well but we are now looking to a new step forward,” Sprovieri told eGR.
“I have been part of this group for many years, and I am confident that we have the potential to achieve our objectives,” he added.
He replaces Tim Parker who recent became CEO of gaming consultancy firm Z Squared Gaming after initially joining GoldBet in September 2012 as chief commercial officer before being promoted to the role of CEO and key official.
Austria-headquartered GoldBet was formed in 2000 and, under a licence issued by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta to the Malta based subsidiary GoldBet Entertainment Limited, offers online sports betting, casino and poker products.
