Golden Nugget buys Mississippi casino
Isle Casino in Biloxi is land-based group's first property in Magnolia State.

Landry’s-owned casino group Golden Nugget has made its first move into Mississippi with the acquisition of Isle Casino Biloxi from the Isle of Capri group.
The venue will become Golden Nugget’s fourth property in the United States, joining one casino in New Jersey and two in Nevada. The New Jersey property, in Atlantic City, was formerly known as the Trump Marina before being acquired by Landry’s last year.
According to Mississippi newspaper The Sun-Herald, the deal is worth US$45m (£28.4m), and is the second time in six months that a Biloxi casino has changed hands following Boyd Gaming’s acquisition of the IP Casino Resort & Spa last October.
The news comes just two weeks after eGaming Review revealed that Mississippi Representative Bobby Moak had introduced a new intrastate online gambling bill.
Golden Nugget recently signed up to Chiligaming’s iGaming Platform before the B2B platform was then sold on to Bally Technologies.
