Gutshot leaves iPoker network
Former Cake Network skin was not among those expected to join segregated 'iPoker 2' mini-network.

Gutshot Poker has left Playtech’s iPoker network and set up rooms on Merge and Enet.
Players with existing accounts have the choice of playing on either network, although eGaming Review understands that “ unlike other Merge skins “ Gutshot will not take US players.
The site moved to iPoker from the Cake Network only last year, but the move follows revelations from eGR in February that the Playtech-owned network was poised to ring-fence liquidity of some of its larger operators. Gutshot was not expected to be among those enjoying ring-fenced liquidity.
Explaining the reasons for setting up shop on two networks, Gutshot Poker club founder Barry Martin told poker news site Pokerfuse: “”Merge has fantastic action, but we needed something extra for our players in European time zones.”
