GVC completes 12-month project to upgrade casino operations
Modernisation process focused on converting slots to HTML and producing more in-house games

GVC has completed a 12-month project to restructure its in-house casino operations which provide content for the Group’s bwin, PartyCasino, partypoker and Sportingbet brands.
The year-long project focused on converting GVC’s slots offering into a mobile-friendly HTML format, updating core table games and expanding the number and quality of games produced in-house.
The firm this morning reported “significant progress” in all three areas, with a 15% year-on-year increase in net gaming revenue in Q2 2017, as reported in the Group’s recent July trading update.
“Having invested a huge amount of time and effort in improving the quality and quantity of our in-house games production, we have completely transformed our operations over the past year,” said GVC’s head of content, Andy Whitworth.
“It’s an exciting time to be at GVC, with the work put in over the last six months now coming to fruition.
“It is testament to the quality of our internal studios that the games developed in-house have held their market share on our network, despite the fact we have added content from thirty of the top independent global providers to our platform. The combined result of improving these two pipelines has resulted in fantastic growth across our casino offer.”
The next six months will see the development of further new games, including a range of Terminator branded titles, a slot based on The Chase as well as a cash out variant of roulette.
