Hero Gaming bolsters HR team with director of people and culture appointment
Malta-headquartered operator promotes Andrea Saliba to head up HR division in latest senior shift
Hero Gaming has promoted HR head Andrea Saliba to the become the firm’s director of people and culture.
Saliba moves up to director level at the Swedish operator after more than four years in the company’s HR division.
He originally joined Hero Gaming in May 2018 as a HR business partner, before being promoted to people and culture manager in April 2020.
Having supported the workforce through the Covid-19 pandemic, Saliba was appointed head of people and culture in September 2021.
As director of people and culture, Saliba will oversee all HR and culture operations at Hero Gaming.
Before joining the industry, Saliba worked in recruitment and as a cabin crew member for Air Malta.
In his new role as director of people and culture, he will be based in Malta.
The latest senior appointment at Hero Gaming comes after the firm named former William Hill International MD Patrick Jonker as its new CEO in February.
The operator also added ex-Entain compliance manager Alistair Facciol as head of legal in June.
