IGT enters Belgium with Groupe Circus partnership
Prominent land-based operator to offer IGT's full suite of games on its Casino777.be site.
IGT has entered into a partnership with land-based Belgian operator Groupe Circus to provide its entire portfolio of online games under the Casino de Spa brand.
Groupe Circus runs licensed wagering venues across the country, and operates the country’s largest wagering website, Casino777.be.
The new agreement will see IGT’s online content “ including branded hits Star Trek and Monopoly Plus as well as IGT classics such as Da Vinci Diamonds “ integrated into the site.
IGT now has a B2B presence across most regulated online casino markets, with partnerships in place with licensed operators in the UK, Italy, Denmark and Canada, and now Belgium.
Earlier this week Eurobet, Gala Coral’s Italian-regulated arm, became the first operator to go live with IGT online slots.
Robert Melendres, executive vice president of emerging businesses at IGT, said of the deal: “This agreement strengthens our position as the partner of choice for regulated markets. We are delighted to have signed this online agreement with such an esteemed land-based operator as Groupe Circus.”
Jean-Christophe Choffray, online general manager at Groupe Circus, added: “IGT’s unbeatable experience and expertise makes them a perfect partner for us. The strength of their content will help us significantly boost our online performance and enhance the player experience at Casino777.be.”
