IGT poker network closes doors
A number of skins have already moved in preparation for the shutdown.

Nevada online poker licensee International Game Technology (IGT) has closed its European-facing IGT Poker network, less than two years after inheriting it in the £70m acquisition of Entraction.
The software provider initially claimed in September that it was “scaling back investment” in the network after withdrawing from a number of dot.com markets, however chief executive Patti Hart later confirmed eGaming Review reports that the network would shut down on 11 December.
A number of operators on the network had already committed to moving their respective poker offerings elsewhere, with many joining the Microgaming Poker Network “ now rebranded as the MPN.
iGame moved its three poker skins to the MPN last month, while BetVictor “ which split its skins with Microgaming and IGT dependent on jurisdictions “ agreed an exclusive deal with the former upon learning that IGT’s network was to close.
Meanwhile Betsson has introduced a room on the MPN alongside its Ongame offering, having previously used IGT for selected markets, while Nordic Leisure brand Redbet has moved to Ongame.
Another former IGT skin, CardBet, agreed to move its poker offering to the Revolution Gaming Network in September.
