Intertain sets date for London listing
Bingo-led operator to rebrand to Jackpotjoy and trade on LSE from 25 January

Intertain has announced a date for its London listing, with trading on the relocated firm to begin on 25 January.
The switch from the Toronto Stock Exchange was originally due to complete mid-October, but was pushed back amid rumours of a lack of support from the market.
However, the firm said Friday it had received approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and would begin trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market for listed securities later this month.
The listing will also see the company rebranded to Jackpotjoy, after the firm’s biggest consumer brand.
“We are excited to have reached this milestone in the implementation of our UK strategic initiatives, including the London listing of Jackpotjoy plc,” Andrew McIver, Intertain CEO, said.
“We believe that these initiatives will provide a platform to further develop Intertain’s core assets for the long-term benefit of the company, its shareholders and other stakeholders.”
In November, the firm reported a 10% year-on-year rise in Q3 gaming revenues to CA$113.6m (£79.5m) on the strength of new customer acquisition and retention.
Average active customers per month were up 11% to 231,000 compared with last year, with a corresponding EBITDA leap of 17% in constant currency to $43.8m (£26m).
