Intralot Italia announces virtual sports launch
Suite of games developed by Inspired and Kiron Interactive to be rolled out online and across retail estate.

Intralot Italia has rolled out a virtual sports offering across its retail and online operations, becoming one of the first companies to launch the newly-regulated vertical.
The offering is comprised of products supplied by Inspired Gaming Group and Johannesburg-based virtual sports specialist Kiron Interactive, with the management, operation and delivery of the solution has been outsourced to Vermantia Media Group.
Intralot Italia becomes the first operator to launch virtual sports in the market, after a testing process was opened for the product in February this year. This followed legislation being approved by the newly-merged Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (Customs and Monopolies Agency), making it the first product to be licensed by the new entity.
Inspired has claimed to have already agreed deals covering 90% of the Italian egaming market, with the likes of SNAI, Sisal, Cogetech, Lottomatica and Eurobet having signed up for its solution.
The launch of virtual sports continues the opening-up of the Italian egaming market, which has seen a number of new products allowed over the past year, including slots and fast-fold poker, while restrictions on bingo products are due to be lifted this year.
