Greek operator launches fixed-odds and football polls offering through its Totolotek subsidiary
Intralot has launched its online operations in Poland through its subsidiary Totolotek, three months after receiving a licence to operate in the country.
Totolotek began to accept bets on fixed-odds and football pool games on 23 October on the totolotek.pl site alongside in-play betting. A mobile application is also due to be deployed in the near future.
Totolotek CEO Adam Lamentowicz said that research into Polish players’ attitudes, behaviours and interests had shaped the design of the website. “Our aim is to offer a product tailored to the end-user and thus further expand our customer base,” he said.
Totolotek has operated in Poland since 1992, establishing more than 400 land-based retail outlets in the country before being acquired by the Greek lottery operator in 2005.
“This new step in Poland ratifies our commitment to”¦ offering players worldwide a ‘universal gaming experience’, meaning the convergence of multiple user interaction channels “ retail, internet and mobile,” Fotis Mavroudis, managing director of Europe and North Africa at Intralot, said.
