Intralot’s Totolotek unveils Poland’s first virtual betting product
Operator signs deal with Betradar for the launch following recent legalisation of bets on virtual events

Bookmaker Totolotek has rolled out Poland’s first virtual sports betting product after the country’s amended Gambling Act recently legalised bets on virtual events.
The Intralot subsidiary partnered with Betradar to introduce virtual sports betting in the market for the first time, offering simulations of football matches and dog and horse races.
It is currently only available in the operator’s offline outlets but will be rolled out across Totolotek’s online platform in the near future.
Totolotek CEO, Adam Lamenstowicz, said: “We believe that this kind of gaming will be of great interest to our customers. It is fast and much more accessible than betting on real games.
“We have put a lot of work into making the simulations as realistic and elaborate as possible, and placed a lot of data inside so as to enable players to analyse possible results.”
The operator’s virtual Premier League includes national teams Lodz Reds, Warsaw Military and Gdynia Herrings, while simulations of national matches will be introduced in May, with further plans to extend to tennis and basketball also in the pipeline.
The latest version of the polish Gambling Act was passed in December, favouring local operators with a 12% tax on sports betting turnover and other restrictions.
In December, Totolotek backed the amended Act alongside Poland’s other major bookmakers.
