Jadestone signs casino deal with Betsson Group
Henrik Persson, CEO of Betsson Malta, says company has been "watching Jadestone closely" for several years.

Swedish gaming service provider Jadestone has signed a two and a half year casino contract with Betsson that covers all its group brands including Betsson, CasinoEuro and Betsafe.
Henrik Persson, CEO of Betsson Malta, said that the company had been “watching Jadestone closely” for several years and that he is excited to enter into what “hopefully will become a long-term and fruitful partnership”.
“Proven local content and exclusive and innovative games are high on the agenda for Betsson. Jadestone is delivering just that and as such they will be an interesting addition to our portfolio of casino game suppliers,” he added.
Robert Henrysson, CEO of Jadestone, added: “The track record and financial development of Betsson during the last few years speaks for itself and we are very excited to now join as a supplier and continue to build on their success.”
The integration project between the companies has already started with the first launch scheduled to take place in the second quarter of this year.
Late last year Jadestone announced it was powering a number of games for Betfair including three new multiplayer dice-based games under the ‘Poker Cubed’ banner.
‘Dice Hold’Em’ is a variant of Texas Hold’Em using dice instead of cards “ described by Betfair as “shaking up” the odds “ while other releases ‘Shoot the Moon; and ‘Liar’s Dice’ are betting-based, which allows players to bet and bluff on the values held by ten partially concealed dice. The Swedish solutions provider was behind the launch of Betfair’s first online backgammon product.
In November last year Jadestone completed a management buyout from former parent company Paf. The deal covered all staff, gaming platforms, intellectual properties and other resources employed by the company, which earlier inked a casino agreement with Paf in 2011.
In the last 12 months Jadestone has signed a number of new deals, including a casino and skill game supply deal with Microgame and an extension of its contract with Unibet until 2013.
