Jumio signs XP Capital deal
Isle of Man-based financial betting firm will integrate Jumio's verification solution into its iOS app

Payments firm Jumio has integrated its real-time customer identification solution into the iOS app of binary trading firm XP Capital.
Isle of Man based XP Capital, a mobile-specific financial betting operator, will use eGR B2B Award-winner Jumio’s Netverify product to allow customers verify their identity in order to engage in financial betting on binary options.
The Netverify system works by having consumers scan ID documents such as passports and driving licences with their mobile devices’ cameras to authenticate their identity.
Jumio Director Bjorn Evers called the method of verification “a new innovative approach” and said the firm was seeing more and more clients from regulated sectors such as financial services and online gaming.
XP capital CEO Roman Gromov spoke of his company’s desire to simplify financial betting at all levels with the Netverify product as part of this. “Jumio’s innovative approach to customer identification simplifies the customer account creation process,” he said.
