KaFe Rocks grants workforce unlimited paid leave
Malta-based affiliate says it trusts employees to “behave responsibly” as it continues to focus on its people’s wellbeing

Online gaming affiliate KaFe Rocks has announced that it is to offer its 100-plus workforce unlimited paid leave.
The Malta-headquartered business, which provides services to over 35 online casino and sports betting brands across 20 markets, has highlighted workplace wellbeing and a desire to “strengthen the company’s people-centred culture” among its priorities.
The group has already offered 100% remote working since it was founded in 2018 should employees wish to do so.
CEO Simon Pilkington indicated that the team is always looking at ways to improve the working life of staff. He said: “We believe in every employee’s integrity, reliability and fairness, and we foster a trusting culture through the levels of freedom and autonomy we give our teams.
“We trust our Rocketeers to manage their time as they need, as well as ensuring the needs of the business remain a key priority.”
As Covid-19 created uncertainty throughout the industry, Pilkington, the first non-founder CEO of KaFe Rocks, ensured a new focus on health and wellbeing to look after his staff and was quick to appoint former Catena Media talent acquisition team leader Cordelia Morgan-Cooper in the newly created head of people role.
Morgan-Cooper added: “We think taking time off is essential for everyone’s mental health. Spending time to breathe and to do whatever makes you happy can lead to fresh ideas and creativity.
“This change gives more control to our people and we trust them to behave responsibly.”
KaFe Rocks finished sixth in EGR’s Power Affiliate Rankings list in 2021.
