Kaizen Gaming scores sponsorship deal with Brazilian football club
Betano brand to sponsor Atlético Mineiro as operator expands presence in Latam region

Kaizen Gaming’s Betano sports betting brand has sealed a shirt sponsorship agreement with Brazilian top-flight football club Atlético Mineiro.
The Belo Horizonte-based side will debut the Betano logo on 11 January against Red Bull-owned Bragantino in Brazil’s Série A.
Betano replaces banking group BMG as the club’s main shirt sponsor.
In a video reveal of the new shirt, Betano has replaced BMG, with the banking brand demoted to the back of the shirt.
Panos Konstantopoulos, Kaizen Gaming CMO, said: “This landmark partnership marks a significant milestone in the brand’s journey as it’s our first sponsorship overseas, a clear illustration of the ambitions we hold for Betano in Brazil.
“We look forward to working with the team to deliver a successful sponsorship as well as to find ways to enhance our social responsibility plan in Brazil,” he added.
Sergio Batista Coelho, Atlético Mineiro president, commented: “We are delighted to announce that we are the first Brazilian organisation to partner with Betano.
“We look forward to creating unique experiences for our fans especially as the time for our new stadium steadily approaches. We welcome Betano to our family,” he added.
The new agreement expands Kaizen Gaming’s football sponsorship portfolio outside of Europe for the first time.
The operator holds deals with Portugal’s Braga and Maritimo and Greece’s Olympiacos and PAOK, as well as Romanian and Cypriot partnerships.
