
Kambi powers new Mexican sportsbook
Supplier installs sportsbook offering for Televisa-owned operator PlayCity


Kambi’s sportsbook solution is now live in Mexico thanks to a new agreement with local media giant Televisa.
Kambi will power the firm’s gaming arm PlayCity, at PlayCityApuestas.com
Kambi had previously supplied the software for the operator’s bricks and mortar offering, which saw 16 of PlayCity’s land-based casinos furnished with the supplier’s retail product suite.
The PlayCity launch signals Kambi’s latest push in the Latin American market after the firm signed a deal with Colombian operator Corredor Empresarial in June.
Kambi CEO Kristian Nylen said: “I’m delighted that PlayCity is now live with Kambi’s online sports betting solution.
“The response to Kambi’s retail product has illustrated a real thirst among PlayCity players for a high-quality sportsbook offering and we are confident that, together with PlayCity, we can make the online sportsbook an even greater success.”
PlayCity will support the launch with a social and digital marketing campaign from today (Friday 20 October) while TV and other marketing channels are expected to be deployed from next week.
