Kindred joins Pay N Play party with Otto Kasino launch
New Finnish-facing online casino brand went live on proprietary technology on 1 July

Kindred Group has entered the competitive Pay N Play market in the Nordics with the launch of a brand-new casino brand in Finland.
Otto Kasino went live in the country on 1 July 2020 and is the Stockholm-listed operator’s first foray into pure Pay N Play casino gaming.
The brand was built on Kindred Group’s proprietary tech platform with full functionality, while its USP is centred around instant rewards and fast user experience, according to the firm.
“We see some encouraging numbers coming in but it is still early days,” Kindred Group CEO Henrik Tjärnström told EGR Intel. “It is a good initiative for us and it adds another tool in the toolbox.”
Tjärnström revealed Kindred would monitor its progress closely before deciding to develop the brand into further European markets – most likely under a new name.
Malta-based operator Global Gaming was at the forefront of the Nordics Pay N Play trend via its contract with payments provider Trustly.
Hero Gaming (Boom Casino) and Betsson (Jalla Casino) are also active in the Pay N Play market.
