Kristof Fahy joins Superbet in major marketing recruitment push
Fahy joins Ralph Topping on Superbet’s advisory board as the Romanian operator also hires a new chief marketing officer

Former William Hill and Ladbrokes CMO, Kristof Fahy, has joined Superbet’s advisory board as part of a major recruitment drive of marketing personnel, EGR Intel can reveal.
Fahy, who will remain chief customer officer (CCO) at Hostelworld Group, joins his former William Hill boss Ralph Topping on the Romanian company’s advisory board to coincide with the appointment of a new CMO.
The Bucharest-headquartered Superbet recently hired Dusan Zuza as its new marketing chief, bringing experience from outside the betting industry including five years of journalism roles in Eastern European media.
He previously spent 10 years at fast-moving consumer goods firm Procter & Gamble, while more recently he held CEO and business development roles at a number of privately-held companies.
“Superbet was never really a marketing-oriented company, and we always considered ourselves as a product-driven business,” Sacha Dragic, CEO of Superbet, told EGR Intel.
“We will remain product-driven, but with Kristof’s help and our new CMO and some other great people we have in different parts of organisation, we will give marketing a far higher priority than ever before,” he added.

As a member of Superbet’s advisory board, Fahy brings with him more than seven years in the online gambling industry, including a five-year stint as CMO of William Hill and nearly two years as CMO/CCO at Ladbrokes Coral.
He also previously held marketing and brand roles at Yahoo!, Telegraph Media Group, BlackBerry and Orange.
Fahy joins Superbet amid a major expansion of its senior management team, which has seen the sports betting firm hire a number of familiar industry names including James Curwen, Jamie Hart, Finbarr Joy and former Fortuna personnel.
