Ladbrokes and Powerleague team up for five-a-side collaboration
Customers will also be able to win free peak-hours pitch time at 10 venues across the country as part of activation

Ladbrokes has partnered with Powerleague to provide free pitch time to five-a-side teams around the country.
The deal will also see the firm host a 480-team tournament culminating in a star-studded grand final in Birmingham.
Launching on 3 February, the initiative will see Ladbrokes customers take part in a free-to-enter competition via Twitter for the opportunity to win four weeks’ worth of pitch time during primetime on a Thursday.
The £400 offering will be available at 10 Powerleague clubs across the country.
The tournament will see teams from around the UK compete to become the nation’s best five-a-side team.
Qualifying rounds will take place at various Powerleague venues and will feature live entertainment, celebrities and football talent and will be centred around both cultural and football events.
Ladbrokes will also be rewarding skills, using Powerleague’s pitchside cameras to capture footage, with prizes and social media exposure to be awarded to the most impressive teams.
Ladbrokes’ head of brand Kelly Rose said: “We can’t wait to kick off this partnership with Powerleague. It will help Ladbrokes build a presence at the heart of football culture and entertainment, and really underlines our ‘We Play Together’ proposition.
“We want to give players of all levels the opportunity to have a chance of claiming a pitch at a primetime for free, and our first-ever national tournament promises to mix football with popular culture in a way that has never been done before.”
Head of commercial for Powerleague, Dominic Reed, added: “We’re thrilled to be launching this partnership with Ladbrokes and building on the ‘We Play Together’ messaging which resonates so well with us. Powerleague customers and the wider five-a-side community are in for a real game-changing experience in tournament football at their local Powerleague venue.
“We hope, over the duration of the partnership, many more players from our local communities have the chance to claim their primetime slots and engage in the health and wellbeing benefits that Powerleague offers.”
