Ladbrokes completes mobile World Cup preparations
UK operator to release updated mobile sports betting product complete with its flagship World Cup Centre

Ladbrokes has put the finishing touches to its World Cup mobile offer as the UK bookmaker prepares to roll out new app and HTML5 features, including the Ladbrokes World Cup Centre.
The operator’s flagship “tournament hub” tab is set to feature price boosts and special offers as well as key information about the World Cup including tournament fixtures and group tables.
The app will also include a daily binary coupon asking six yes or no questions which pays out at 33/1 and a free-to-play game offering £10,000 in free bets.
The operator has dubbed the update as “the final step in readiness for the World Cup” and follows the unveiling of new platforms for its Mobenga app earlier this week.
And Ladbrokes director of mobile and devices, Andrew Bagguley, said the firm was confident the mobile product would be a market leader during the football tournament.
Ladbrokes also revealed plans to release another mobile update next week which will see the addition of German and Swedish language support and tennis scorecards and statistics as its focus begins to move to the Wimbledon tennis championships which get underway on 23 June.
