Sky Betting & Gaming launches Amazon Alexa skill
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has developed a new skill for Amazon Alexa devices that will offer exclusive audio content to users of its Soccer Saturday Super 6 game.
After enabling the skill, users can add it to their daily flash round-up and get the latest predictions from Jeff Stelling and Paul Merson as well as clips from Soccer Saturday.
SB&G said video versions of the content would be available from 16 November when Amazon’s Echo Show—the first Echo with a display—arrives in the UK.
Betsson to launch Spain-facing sportsbook
Betsson is planning to launch a Spain-facing sportsbook brand that will be powered by BetConstruct’s sports betting platform.
Speaking to investors on Friday, group CEO Pontus Lindwall said the operator had signed a two year contract with the supplier, which is already licensed to operate in Spain.
“In order to save time to market we are using that platform,” Lindwall said. “The market is important for us now.”
Mr Green signs casino partnership with Celtic
Mr Green has announced a two-year deal to become the official casino partner of Scottish champions Celtic FC.
The partnership will see Mr Green develop an exclusive Celtic-themed casino game, with customers given the chance to compete for match tickets and VIP experiences at the club’s training ground.
Mr Green branding will also appear on both screens at Celtic matches and on the club’s mobile and desktop websites.
Kambi powers new Mexican sportsbook
Kambi’s sportsbook solution is now live in Mexico thanks to a new agreement with local media giant Televisa.
Kambi will power the firm’s gaming arm PlayCity, at PlayCityApuestas.com
Kambi had previously supplied the software for the operator’s bricks and mortar offering, which saw 16 of PlayCity’s land-based casinos furnished with the supplier’s retail product suite.
OPAP inks Greek basketball sponsorship
Greek operator OPAP has extended its sponsorship of the Greek basketball team PAOK BC through 2017-2018 season.
The partnership, which started last year, will see OPAP branding appear on the team’s official jerseys.
The partners also said they would focus on supporting grassroots sports, as part of the deal.
