A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including NYX Gaming Group and Ladbrokes
NYX Gaming Group’s Australia-based development studio NextGen Gaming has launched an initial batch of slot games on Ladbrokes’ mobile and desktop casino products. Ladbrokes has taken an initial three titles and will be able to integrate additional third-party content delivered through NYX’s OGS back-end. Ladbrokes egaming director Richard Poole said the deal would support the bookmaker’s strategy and welcomed the addition of new mobile content.
Austrian betting group SKS365 has confirmed that it is one of the dozen new companies to apply for a Spanish online gaming licence before last week’s deadline. The firm is aiming to launch its planetwin365 sportsbook product in the country and Thomas Smallwood, CEO at SKS365, said the product would have “great potential in the Spanish market”. “We can bring new value in sports betting to the Spanish customers through our innovative and highly competitive product, which has already proven very popular in other countries,” Smallwood added, noting that he hoped to launch in the country in H1 2015.
BetConstruct has launched an online version of poker variant Open Face Chinese Poker. The game has been made immediately available to BetConstruct’s clients and Suren Khachatryan, chief executive at BetConstruct, said the “continuously evolving” nature of poker had led to the product’s development. “The game combines simple rules with big drama, which is why it’s compelling and popular with both professionals and amateurs alike,” he added.
Egaming supplier 1X2gaming has released a new Greek mythology-themed slot Gods of Olympus to its licensees. The slot games has initially been made available in flash, however a HTML5 version is due to be rolled out before the end of the year. The supplier said the title is representative of a “new era” for the firm as it experiments with improved graphics and Luke Jobling, CTO at 1X2gaming said the game demonstrates the company’s ability to “offer diverse graphical styles” as it expands its gaming portfolio.
Online casino software firm SkillOnNet has released a new slot game which it says it’s the start of a major content push for 2015. Wild Crystal Arrows has been released simultaneously on desktop and mobile on both its own B2C brands and its white label partners, with a host of other titles expected to follow early next year. SkillOnNet previously announced content deals with Evolution Gaming, Amaya and Net Entertainment to boost its product portfolio, all of which are to set to go live in early 2015.
