LeoVegas moves for Push Gaming in B2B M&A drive
MGM Resorts-owned firm flexes muscles for first time since sale as it seals undisclosed deal for content supplier

LeoVegas has agreed an undisclosed deal to acquire the majority of supplier Push Gaming as it looks to expand its B2B capabilities.
The acquisition represents the first major investment by the operator following its acquisition by MGM Resorts last year.
MGM acquired LeoVegas in a $604m deal last September, as the Las Vegas giant looks to expand its online footprint ahead of a concerted digital push.
The acquisition of Push Gaming will aim to support these ambitions, with the supplier providing more than 30 proprietary titles to more than 200 global operators.
MGM said: “Push Gaming’s proprietary technologies, intellectual property and development expertise will bolster the content production capabilities of LeoVegas and support its plans for continued growth through expansion.”
As part of the deal, Push Gaming will remain under the same management team and its existing employees will continue to work on the subsidiary’s content.
The deal is subject to standard regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in Q3 2023.
Gary Fritz, MGM Resorts International Interactive president, said: “The acquisition of Push Gaming by LeoVegas is consistent with our vision to expand MGM Resorts’ digital gaming presence internationally to grow our capabilities and products over the next several years.
“We are pleased to bring Push Gaming into our business as it brings a track record of developing games that are popular and have staying power in the industry, as well as an exceptional management and operating team,” he added.
Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas CEO, commented: “The management team at Push Gaming has had a phenomenal journey, quickly growing the company from a small startup to a player with outstanding proprietary content and a strong customer base. We look forward to contributing to their continued success moving forward.”
Push Gaming will join Blue Guru Games as one of LeoVegas’ in-house supplier brands following the conclusion of the deal.
