LeoVegas named principal sponsor of Norwich City
Operator scores three-year deal with the Championship club, while ManBetX also signs sponsorship agreement with Crystal Palace

LeoVegas has signed a three-year deal to become the principal sponsor of Norwich City FC as the scramble continues for sponsorship opportunities ahead of the new football season.
The deal kicks off on 1 July and will see the Stockholm-listed operator’s logo featured on all adult shirts and match-day training wear, in addition to an in-stadia presence at Carrow Road.

Jon Sinclair, head of LeoVegas UK, said: “We’re very excited to be partnering with Norwich City, and this is a deal that cements LeoVegas’ presence in UK sport.
“We’re delighted to be working alongside the Canaries at the start of an exciting new era both on and off the pitch, and can’t wait for the new season to get started.”
The Norwich City deal is the latest part of the operator’s UK marketing push following recent sponsorship agreements with Brentford FC and rugby union heavyweights Leicester Tigers.

Earlier this year, LeoVegas also unveiled Johnny Vegas as its new brand ambassador, with the British comedian appearing in the firm’s new UK TV advertising campaign.
Commenting on this week’s deal, Norwich City MD, Steve Stone, said: “We are delighted to welcome LeoVegas as our Principal Partner for the next three seasons, and as such they are making a vital commitment to Norwich City.
“It has been a positive summer for the Club commercially, and this lucrative partnership with LeoVegas will generate vital income into Norwich City. We very much look forward to working with them for the next three seasons.”
In other news, international gaming company ManBetX has also been named as the new shirt sponsor of Premier League football club Crystal Palace as part of a multi-year deal.
The ManBetX logo will feature across the club’s shirt and will be promoted as main sponsor across all its media channels online and offline, in the UK and internationally.

According to the south London club, the “record breaking” partnership is estimated to be the eighth biggest club deal by value in the Premier League.
A ManBetX spokesman said: “It’s a hugely exciting time to partner with a high profile Premier League team like Crystal Palace F.C.
“We’re certain Crystal Palace provides us with the platform to move to new heights and are looking forward to engaging with the Club’s ever growing fanbase in the UK and worldwide. We’re looking forward to the 2017/18 Premier League season.”
