LeoVegas’ Pixel.bet targets esports bettors with mobile casino launch
Product was built in four weeks and is live in Sweden and Finland via integration of Trustly’s Pay N Play function

LeoVegas-owned Pixel.bet has launched a BetConstruct-powered casino to cross-sell esports betting customers between its flagship sites.
Pixel.bet CMO Fabien Humbert told EGR Intel the operator’s aim was to offer a fast and transparent alternative to the standard mobile casino, while also appealing specifically to esports bettors.
The casino offers gamified slots titles to engage its target audience and Humbert said the product team was exploring new slots titles that integrate esports specific mechanics.
“We’ve identified live casino [games] and a couple of slots that are more video game related,” Humbert said.
“It’s a great opportunity for the [casino] product to market the most relevant esports related slots for an experience that will bring the same amount of thrill [to a player].”
The product was built in four weeks and is currently live in Sweden and Finland with Trustly’s Pay N Play function integrated.
Players will be offered 10% cashback on losses every week instead of being awarded bonuses or promotions.
Cashback will be allocated on a specific day of the week in an effort to drive customer engagement and retention.
LeoVegas investment arm, LeoVentures, acquired Pixel.bet in September for €1.5m. The operator owns 51% of shares in Pixel.bet’s parent company.
