LeoVegas makes Germany and Denmark marketing push
Operator says Google Play Store app launch will be a “game changer” and plans to launch in other jurisdictions

LeoVegas will look towards Germany and Denmark for its next marketing push after reporting encouraging early progress following its launch in Denmark last last year.
Victor Fritzen, CFO of the Stockholm-listed firm, said it was achieving better traction in the UK this year but was gaining much higher marketing ROI from Denmark.
LeoVegas launched its casino product in Denmark at the end of 2016 with its sportsbook product going live in July 2017.

And the strong performance from Denmark was in contrast to Sweden, where Fritzen said that ROI for the firm’s core market had decreased slightly over the last two quarters.
But the operator is not turning off the marketing taps in the UK and has recently announced sponsorship deals with Norwich and Brentford FC to further increase their UK presence.
LeoVegas also launched its casino app this month in the UK Google Play store, after the tech giant lifted its ban on gambling apps.
CEO Gustaf Hagman said this would be a “game changer” for the firm and was likely to drive customer deposits in coming quarters.
Targeted mobile app engagement campaigns are to be directed at the UK market to publicise the app’s presence in the android app store.
Currently the UK accounts for 14.3% of NGR, whilst Sweden and other Nordic markets make up over 50%.
Hagman said the firm would look to launch the app in other jurisdictions in future.
