LeoVegas launches Kambi-powered sportsbook
Operator expands beyond gaming for the first time ahead of Euro 2016

LeoVegas has launched its new Kambi-powered sports betting product as the operator makes its first major shift away from online casino.
LeoVegas Sport will be rolled out across the UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands and Canada from 13 May.
The firm says it has ambitions to make the sportsbook “the market’s fastest and most engaging mobile sports betting experience” and offer customers “seamless integration” between its existing casino products and the new sportsbook.
Available via LeoVegas’ mobile app and website, the operator also said that launching ahead of the UEFA Euro 2016 was a “significant achievement”.
“LeoVegas’ mobile DNA and innovative strength is the foundation for our market-leading position in mobile gaming,” Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas Group CEO and co-founder, said.
“I am very proud of our employees who have enabled us to launch a product that will bring mobile sports betting to a new level,” he added.
Kristian Nyl?n, CEO of sportsbook supplier Kambi Group, said: “It has been extremely exciting and productive working with a partner such as LeoVegas, which is constantly pushing the technology forward and taking mobile sports betting to new dimensions.
“LeoVegas Sport is a brilliant example of how Kambi’s platform can be used to create a unique and differentiated gaming experience,” he added.
