LeoVegas unveils branded live casino product
Operator also plans to launch industry-first NetEnt and Evolution powered games by mid-July

LeoVegas has unveiled its first live casino product as the operator prepares to add industry-first products from NetEnt and Evolution Gaming later this summer.
The live dealer portfolio was launched ahead of the European Championships and includes roulette, blackjack and other card games, as well as exclusive live LeoVegas branded rooms.
The firm has adopted a multi-supplier strategy with Evolution Gaming, NetEnt and Extreme all providing streams to its portfolio available on desktop and mobile.
“It was a natural expansion plan for us,” Karolina Pelc, head of casino for LeoVegas Group, told eGaming Review.
“We thought, why not utilise our award-winning user interface and the fast-moving technology to expand into new verticals so we can provide entertainment in all aspects of the gaming industry,” said Pelc.
“We also felt live casino was relatively unexplored, especially on mobile,” she added.
The launch of a live casino was timed to coincide with the company’s new sportsbook in a bid to boost cross-sell during Euro 2016.
“Live casino is a great acquisition crossover for encouraging sportsbook players into playing casino,” she added. “It was the best timing for us to increase maximum exposure for us.”
LeoVegas is set to become one of the first operators to launch NetEnt’s new live casino offering on mobile and Evolution’s bet behind functionality that has previously been available on desktop only. Both are expected to be launched by mid-July.
Several operators have recently expanded into live casino, including Unibet, GVC’s CasinoClub and BetBright.
