LGA signs MoU with Ontario regulator
Maltese regulatory authority also signs agreement with FIFA early warning system.

The Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority has signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding with the Alcohol and Gambling Commission of Ontario.
Following the deal the two regulatory authorities will exchange information on licence applicants’ eligibility assessments, with both bodies contributing to the development of joint operational and technical standards across the egaming spectrum.
It comes little over two months after the Alcohol and Gambling Commission signed a separate MoU with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
This week has also seen the LGA enter into an MoU of its own with the FIFA Early Warning System, the football governing body’s in-house agency on sport integrity, in a move designed to help FIFA investigate betting patterns or suspected insider betting activity.
