Lithuania reports 42% H1 online revenue rise
Official figures released by the country’s Gaming Control Authority see online revenues reach €17.5m

The Lithuanian online gambling market grew 42% in the first half of 2019 as H1 revenues hit €17.5m, up from €12.3m in the same period last year.
The growth was primarily driven by online sports betting, as revenues reached €10.4m, increasing from €8.1m in H1 2018.
Growth in online casino nearly doubled with the vertical accounting for €6.4m in revenue, up from €3.8m last year, while online table games brought in €192,000.
Land-based gambling in H1 remained stable, rising 2.5% to €34.6m.
The figures are provided by Lithuania’s Gaming Control Authority which only covers the country’s officially licensed operators.
The regulator took aim at Kindred Group back in May for “openly and blatantly violating the law” by continuing to offer online gambling services in the country.
