Locus Gaming debuts first product
Mobile-focused start-up launches Jack Wild Casino.

Locus Gaming, the mobile casino start-up founded by Ladbrokes veterans Ed Andrewes and Mick D’Ancona, has launched its first product.
Jack Wild Casino is live for online, smartphone and tablet devices, featuring a range of 3- and 5-reel slot games alongside roulette and blackjack products. Hosted on the NYX Interactive mobile gaming platform, the site is offering to match first deposits of up to £150.
Commenting on the launch Locus Gaming director Andrewes admitted that while the company was still experiencing some issues with the presentation of the site on older smartphones, the ongoing work on such problems would ultimately provide “a key competitive advantage” for the operator:
“All the transactional functionality is working well and we are in good shape from an operational point of view. There are still issues over the presentation of the site on some devices particularly for older smartphones. The “responsive design” technology is extremely complex and we are managing the style sheet to work not just on a wide range of devices but also on a number of different versions of the software on those devices,” he explained.
“This work is ongoing and you can rest assured we will continue to work hard on improving the service across both legacy and future platforms,” Andrewes added.
The company was founded last year, and received an Isle of Man egaming licence in December.
