London Breakfast Briefing to discuss how to improve industry reputation
With the UK gambling industry under the regulatory spotlight, expert panellists will discuss how stakeholders can address misconceptions and advance its public image

Register now to attend the next EGR Breakfast Briefing in London which will explore how the gambling and gaming industry can improve its public image.
Taking place on 4 May at the Hippodrome Casino, and in light of a number of ongoing UK regulatory reviews, expert panellists will offer their thoughts on why the industry appears to be losing the long-term PR battle.
Speakers will consider the ways in which stakeholders can regain the front foot and paint a more positive picture while also discuss whether there are more deep-rooted issues that industry needs to address.
Panellists include The Rank Group director of compliance and responsible gambling, Richard Wade, and former head of operations at Panbet, and now head of gambling therapy at problem gambling treatment centre Gordon Moody, Pedro Romero.
In addition, we welcome Regulus partner, Dan Waugh, who was previously chairman of the Young Gamblers Education Trust and director of strategy at The Rank Group, while a senior figure from the Advertising Standards Authority will complete the panel line-up.
Furthermore, there’ll be a presentation from the director general of alcohol trade body Alcohol Information Partnership, Dave Roberts, who’ll be sharing his learnings from the alcohol industry and how the organisation has gone about rebutting misconceptions and inaccurate press reporting.
