Lottoland B2B division recruits new head of legal and compliance
Former GVC legal counsel and Nektan CLO Abigail Wahnon joins ALOT Solutions in Gibraltar-based role

Lottoland’s B2B division, ALOT Solutions, has appointed Abigail Wahnon as its new head of legal and compliance.
In her new role, Wahnon will provide support to the Gibraltar-based firm on legal and compliance issues, reporting to ALOT CEO Michael Carruthers on B2B and B2G (business to government) issues.
Wahnon will be responsible for legal, company secretarial and compliance functions at ALOT Solutions and will help support and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
A veteran of gaming’s legal sector, Wahnon most recently served as chief legal officer for B2B technology supplier Nektan overseeing the company’s legal and compliance function.
Wahnon also served as legal counsel for bwin between 2015 and 2016 before switching to parent company GVC as deputy company secretary and legal counsel for the next three years.
ALOT CEO Michael Carruthers welcomed the appointment of Wahnon, singling out her 10 years’ experience in dealing with gambling-related legal issues.
“Having someone of Abigail’s calibre join our team will help us to grow quickly and safely as we power innovation in the lottery, gaming and prize promotion sectors to benefit players, operators and their good causes,” Carruthers added.
Lottoland’s B2B division relaunched as ALOT Solutions in November, with the aim of creating a separate brand identity distinct from the main Lottoland business.
Wahnon said: “I’m really pleased to be joining the ALOT Solutions team and can’t wait to meet everyone and get stuck in.
“Having been based in Gibraltar, I’ve been able to watch the company develop – I look forward to helping deliver the strategy and seeing the business grow.”
