Maxima Compliance recruits former Flutter product manager as first CPO
Catalin Zaha to oversee provider’s product suite, including Complitech and DataVault, from Romania

Regulatory and technical compliance provider Maxima Compliance has hired former Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) product manager Catalin Zaha as its first ever chief product officer (CPO).
Zaha has accepted his new role after six years at Flutter Entertainment, where he was held a number of positions, including product owner for data across regulatory and financial platform services.
He also served as a working group expert on CEN/TC 456, reporting in support of online gambling supervision at BSI.
Zaha said: “Maxima Compliance has been on my radar for a couple of years, because of the innovative and technology-led approach they take to compliance.
“I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time for Maxima, and look forward to further building out what is already a world-class product offering.”
The new role will see Zaha manage Maxima Compliance‘s product suite entitled Complitech, a technical compliance database for the rest of the gambling industry.
Hacksaw Gaming, Authentic Gaming and OneTouch are a few industry brands to have utilised the suite’s capabilities.
A further enhancement of the Maxima Compliance portfolio came earlier this year with the launch of Maxima DataVault.
The platform receives XML and JSON data from operators and games providers and has the ability to save it in the format required by local regulators in specific jurisdictions.
Zaha will be based in Romania in his new role.
