
Microgaming brings blackjack to Windows OS
Bronzebeard Blackjack the Strategy Coach becomes Micro's first 3D app developed for Windows devices.

Microgaming has launched its first product on the Windows operating system, releasing a blackjack app which teaches novices how to play the table game over Xbox Live.
Bronzebeard Blackjack the Strategy Coach is a download-only 3D app optimised for Microsoft Windows 8.0 and the Xbox Live platform, featuring four levels of gameplay and a range of special prizes for wining hands. It is currently available via the Windows Phone Store for smartphones running the Windows Phone 8 and 7 operating systems ahead of its roll-out on the console.
Commenting on the app’s launch, Microgaming’s head of product channels Neil Whyte described Bronzebeard Blackjack’s launch as a statement of the company’s intention to expand their offering across all operating systems and platforms.
“The game is easily accessible through the Microsoft Windows Phone Store, and so far, the application is receiving very positive reviews online, which is fantastic to see,” Whyte added.
The launch sees Microgaming become the second major egaming brand to launch an offering on the Xbox Live platform, after Caesars Interactive released World Series of Poker: Full House Pro in January this year “ an update of the Full House Poker game the operator released on the platform in January 2011.
