Microgaming to launch Batman slot games
Deal will see launch of video slot games released based on film franchise.
Microgaming has signed a licensing agreement to create a series of video slots based on the Batman films The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.
Under the terms of the agreement, Microgaming will create slots featuring animation, themes and characters from the film series, which stars Christian Bale. The first slot will be launched this year, with a Dark Knight Rises version following in 2013.
The Dark Knight Rises will be released in cinemas this summer, while The Dark Knight was released in 2008, becoming the 10th highest-grossing film of all time.
