Mobilt hires head of marketing from Game Lounge after Michael Rasmussen departs
Mikael Jamsanen arrives at the Malta-based start-up following the departure of former CMO

Malta-based betting start-up Mobilt has hired former Game Lounge growth expert Mikael Jamsanen as its new head of marketing.
Jamsanen began his new role in Mobilt’s Silema office earlier this month where he is responsible for overall marketing activities, including media buying, sponsorships, social media and SEO strategy.
Jamsanen replaces former Mobilt CMO Michael Rasmussen, who left the firm this month to oversee international business development for Vienna-based marketing agency, E2 Communications GmbH.
Rasmussen’s old remit will now be split between two roles; head of marketing and head of affiliates.

Mobilt CEO Andreas Bardun
Mobilt CEO Andreas Bardun told EGR Intel: “Mobilt is looking to really make a big push after the summer so Mikael will the main person, together with our new head of affiliates, to ensure we reach the growth we expect.”
“The way Mobilt was growing, we needed to split our marketing departments and we needed a more hands-on approach.
“We will reinstate the CMO position in the future, but we have recruited good people to head up our marketing and affiliate departments.
“My philosophy is to give internal staff the first chance to get promotions over hiring from the outside as I put a lot of trust in the people I hire.
“This should give staff the opportunity to advance their careers, and that is what I believe makes Mobilt very attractive company to work for,” he added.
Jamsanen is Finnish, which according to Bardun, also works well alongside the main target market of Mobilt’s recently-launched online casino venture, Fortune Legends.
