Mr Green joins EGBA
Operator commits to responsible gambling and customer transparency measures

Mr Green has joined the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) in an effort to help the spread of sustainable gambling practices across Europe, the operator said this morning.
As part of its joining, Mr Green will adhere to the CEN Workshop agreement on Responsible Remote Gambling Measures for which the firm will be regularly audited.
Maarten Haijer, Secretary-General, EGBA said: “We are very pleased that MRG has joined the EGBA family and we look forward to working closely together with them towards an open, well-regulated market for online gaming in the EU and EEA.
MRG brings a strong profile of responsibility, and together we will work towards developing attractive regulated markets that are capable of channelling consumers and providing a high level of consumer protection.”
The EGBA has been very active in recent months, lobbying Norwegian authorities to stop its proposed system of payment blocking from being introduced and most recently writing to Italian MPs to encourage them to not vote in favour of the Italian advertising ban.
Per Norman, chief executive officer for MRG, said the company “shares EGBA’s view that the industry must work closer together to create a safe and reliable European digital environment for egaming players.
“Green Gaming has been a core of our strategy since the foundation of the Group and we are enthusiastic about contributing to the development of more Green egaming services across Europe,” Norman added.
