Mr Green recruits new CFO
Simon Falk to join from pharmacist chain Kronans Apotek in October to replace retiring Marjatta Skogh

Swedish online gambling firm Mr Green is to hire Simon Falk as its new chief financial officer in October following the planned retirement of current CFO Marjatta Skogh.
Falk is expected to start no later than 1 October and joins the firm from Swedish pharmacist chain Kronans Apotek, where he has spent more than five years serving as its finance director having previously served as CFO at telecommunications firms Bredbandsbolaget and Tele2.
“As the Mr Green & Co Group acquires more gaming companies and grows geographically, our CFO will hold an increasingly central position,” Mikael Pawlo, CEO at Mr Green, said. “We are confident that Simon Falk will play a key role in our continued expansion.”
“The company has made an exciting journey in recent years in which Marjatta, with her expertise and eye for detail, has played a crucial role,” he added.
Falk becomes the third new appointment to Mr Green’s management team in a fortnight following the departure of CMO Henrik Svensson, who has been replaced by Fredrik Stael von Holstein and Stein-Erik Myhre.
Skogh joined Mr Green as its CFO in April last year and has presided over a period that has seen Mr Green’s profits soar, with EDBITDA rising 45% year-on-year in H1 2014 to SEK75.5m (£6.6m).
