Mr Green strikes Yggdrasil content deal
Casino operator to integrate 25 games in first major deal under new casino head Andy Braithwaite

Mr Green has sealed a content deal with games provider Yggdrasil Gaming which will see the casino operator integrate the supplier’s full suite of games.
Mr Green will take 25 of Yggdrasil’s current slots and lottery games as well as future releases in what marks the operator’s first major deal under new head of casino Andy Braithwaite (pictured).
Braithwaite, who joined the Swedish operator from Redbet at the start of the year, signed the deal at London’s ICE Totally Gaming exhibition yesterday.
“Yggdrasil have been on our radar for some time now and are producing some of the industry’s most interesting games, so it was only natural that we wanted to partner with them,” Braithwaite said.
Yggdrasil’s portfolio contains a variety of casino games including its Jokerizer slot, which was recently adapted to mobile, and Lotto7, a daily lottery draw where players play for a 2.5 million prize.
The Malta-based supplier is led by founder and chief executive Fredrik Elmqvist, who was formerly the head of global market operations at Net Entertainment.
Elmqvist said he was “excited” by the Mr Green deal and hinted at more to come in the next 12 months.
“Their [Mr Green’s] player friendly casino always provides elegant solutions making them one of the strongest consumer brands in the iGaming market so we are very excited to have them on board,” Elmqvist said.
Last month Mr Green appointed Bo Wänghammar as its new CEO after former chief exec Marcus Nylen moved to mobile casino Garbo.com.
