Mybet CFO retires from management board
Stefan Hänel in contact with the group's supervisory board to agree "further necessary steps"
Mybet CFO and board member Stefan Hänel has retired from the company’s board of management after more than a decade at the sportsbook provider.
His duties will be taken on by mybet CEO Mathias Dahms until further notice, with Hänel currently in contact with the group’s supervisory board negotiating the “further necessary steps” to his departure.
Hänel has been at the Schleswig-Holstein-based operator for more than ten years having joined its management board in May 2003.
His departure comes six months after supervisory board member Rodolfo Carpintier Santana stepped down for personal reasons in April, prompting the operator to postpone its annual shareholders’ meeting.
Having initially expected to receive a German federal sports betting licence, mybet recently slashed its earnings projections for this year citing increased regulatory uncertainty in the country.
