Maria Hedengren leaves gaming supplier after five years

NetEnt chief financial officer Maria Hedengren is to leave after nearly five-years, the Swedish supplier announced this morning.
Hedengren will retain her responsibilities until she leaves her position, when she is set to become CFO of an as-yet unnamed company.
Hedengren has been with the firm since 2011, joining from computer software company IBS where she held the role of head of group control.
NetEnt, which was recently granted two supplier licences by Romanian authorities, said the search for Hedengren’s successor is underway.
“Maria has made a significant contribution to the success of NetEnt over these past years,” said Per Eriksson, president and CEO of NetEnt.
“I will miss our interactions and wish her all the best in her new position,” he added.
