New German operator to take on rivals with sportsbook-only focus
iGamingCloud-powered Wetten.com launched Friday and will tailor product exclusively to German-speaking markets

Germany-facing operator Wetten.com has pledged to take on established rivals by focusing exclusively on sports betting and German-speaking markets.
Wetten.com was officially launched Friday on GIG’s iGamingCloud platform, and told EGR Intel its streamlined focus would help it take market share from big name brands like Tipico and Interwetten.
“As opposed to building a multi-product brand across Europe, Wetten.com will focus on the German-speaking markets and sports betting only,” Wetten CEO Daniel Bradtke said.
“This focus enables us to put the German customers at the very centre of the brand – offering an authentic and local user experience”.
Bradtke also promised an aggressive marketing strategy, as the new firm looks to “make as much noise as possible”.
“In the coming months, TV marketing will be our primary focus in Germany and Austria into which we will be integrating 360-degree digital strategy,” Bradtke said.
“Our affiliate marketing strategy will be exclusive and only open to a small number of trusted partners, while we are also in the process of discussing sponsoring partnerships in Germany and Austria.”
