Operator confirms that discussions remain ongoing with multiple parties, and apologises for previous lack of communication.

Full Tilt Poker has issued a statement on the progress of negotiations with its potential investors, following yesterday’s admission from lawyer Jeff Ifrah that the exclusivity agreement with the original interested party had expired. The operator, whose public hearing with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission is set to recommence on or before 15 September, told Pokernews that “The company has now begun negotiations with additional potential investors to conclude the sale/partnership of the Full Tilt Poker brand and its assets.” FTP also apologised for its “lack of communication with its customers over the last month and a half, and pledged to “have better communication with its customers going forward”.
Centrebet has received approval from the Apple app store for its mobile betting app, the Australian bookmaker revealed to eGaming Review today. The iPhone app and accompanying smartphone site were developed with Sydney-based media company TigerSpike, and will initially be made available to the Australian player base of the company, which is set to become a subsidiary of Sportingbet at the end of this month. Centrebet’s mobile marketing specialist Jack Sangster said he believed the product “[W]ill become Australia’s premier mobile betting service for our punters”
Fiona Stevenson has been appointed as William Hill‘s first ever head of mobile marketing, according to Marketing magazine. She joins the London-listed bookmaker from play-for-fun mobile games provider PlayPhone, and has previously spent time with Electronic Arts (EA) and T-Mobile in mobile marketing roles.
PartyPoker has changed its rake structure for cash games from a dealt to a weighted contributed model, according to reports at PokerStrategy.com. The poker room – which is ranked third for cash game traffic by Pokerscout – has also reduced rake in sit’n’go tournaments as it reviews its existing structure for that particular format of poker.
Solutions provider Sports Betting Tech has appointed Itai Zak as its new CEO, with the Israeli national set to take over in September. He arrives from Spiral Solutions, where he served as VP of gaming products for the company and for its mobile arm Spin3 for more than five years.
