NordicBet hunting for new MD after Garfield exits
Betsson brand begins search for new managing director following departure of Neill Garfield

Betsson AB-owned NordicBet is on the lookout for a new managing director following the departure of incumbent Neill Garfield, eGaming Review has learned.
Garfield, who also headed-up Betsson’s casino brand Maxino, left the operator in December some 18 months after joining the company from financial trading firm Forex Trader.
He had previously been head of marketing at Australian operator Tom Waterhouse ahead the firm’s sale to William Hill, and was also online marketing manager at Paddy Power.
A spokesperson for Betsson confirmed Garfield’s exit and eGR understands Garfield has lined-up a new role within the industry.
Both NordicBet and Maxino were part of Nordic Gaming Group, which was acquired by Betsson for 65m in 2012.
At the start of last year NordicBet decided to stop taking business from customers based outside of its core markets of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
