NYX Gaming in GeoComply deal
Gaming platform supplier chooses Nevada-based geolocation partner for mobile device location checks.

NYX Gaming Group has agreed a deal for GeoComply’s geolocation services, allowing the gaming platform supplier to confirm the physical location of players who are using Apple and Android devices.
Gaming platform provider NYX will use the Nevada-based company’s player location services within the regulated markets it currently operates in, which include working with state-run operators Francaise de Jeux and Svenska Spel in France and Sweden respectively.
Matt Davey, NYX Gaming Group CEO, said of the deal: “Technology and the gaming market never stop evolving, and we are committed to constantly investing in our solutions in order to make sure that our clients are always kept one step ahead of the pack. With the growth in popularity of mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones and Android enabled smart-phones and tablets, conventional IP, GSM or sms-based geolocation can often be unreliable.”
Anna Sainsbury (pictured), GeoComply CEO, said of the deal: “We are very happy to have been selected by NYX Gaming Group. NYX is making great progress penetrating markets all over the world and we are looking forward to being a part of that global expansion.”
Mobile gambling operator Probability signed a similar deal with GeoComply last month.
GeoComply has increased its recruitment drive this year with the appointment of Lindsay Kinninmonth as operations manager for North America and Macrina Martinez as the head of its North American office.
