Oddschecker expands into online bingo affiliation

Sports betting affiliate adds new tab to desktop website featuring seven UK-facing bingo brands
Odds comparison site Oddschecker has launched a new bingo tab as part of a wider push into scaling up its online gaming affiliate business.
The firm, which was recently acquired by CVC Capital Partners, launched a new gaming tab on its website last week featuring the new bingo sub-section and its existing casino arm and is currently promoting seven bingo brands including Mecca Bingo, 888Ladies, Jackpotjoy and Virgin Bingo.
Speaking to eGR Digital Marketing, Oddscheckerâs commercial manager Harry Bowden said that the company saw bingo as a growth opportunity for the business alongside casino.
âWe feel thereâs a definite opportunity to gain some market share, whether thatâs through cross-selling to our existing sports users, or by attracting gaming players directly via various channels,â Bowden said.
Bowden also said that while bingo was unlikely to rival its core odds comparison business, Oddschecker recognised the importance of gaming to every sports betting operatorsâ offering.
âIf we are able to get our product right, then with proper investment and resource thereâs no reason we canât make it a success and a significant part of our revenues,â he added.
Bingo is currently only available on the Oddschecker desktop website but the firm said mobile was part of the product roadmap and that it also planned to add new partners in the coming months.
