OpenBet announces third Canadian lottery partnership
Atlantic Lottery Corporation becomes third Candian lottery customer after Loto-Québec and BCLC

OpenBet has signed a deal with the New Brunswick-based Atlantic Lottery Corporation to supply its sports betting platform for the lottery’s PRO”¢LINE sportsbook.
The platform allows PROӢLINE to take both online and offline bets from players, and gives users access to statistics, feeds and forums.
OpenBet CEO David Loveday (pictured) commented that the deal showed the supplier’s aptitude for working with government lotteries: “This launch is further proof of the strength of OpenBet’s technology offering and our expertise in working with major government-backed organisations across the gaming world. We are proud to be the sports-betting technology provider of choice for Atlantic Lottery. We look forward to working closely with them to provide a dynamic online gaming and betting experience to their customers,” Loveday said.
The deal marks OpenBet’s third Canadian lottery partnership following the software license deal signed with Shuffle Master in October last year, which saw the sportsbook provider agree to supply premium content to Loto-Québec and British Columbia Lottery Corporation. As a result OpenBet supplies three out of the five Canadian provincial lotteries with a sportsbook platform.
OpenBet are also thought to have responded to the request for proposal (RFP) released by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) in December last year for a gaming software supplier. The Ontario contract is the largest egaming contract in North America outside of the US, worth up to US$75m to the chosen supplier.
