Oulala DFS partnership targets Indian market
Malta-based DFS operator partners with Australian tech group Bravio to “penetrate the relatively untapped Indian mobile market
Oulala will provide its DFS white label platform to Bravio, who will distribute and market it in India.
No specific brand has been chosen for the platform, but it will be distributed via Mobimedia India, a mobile marketing agency recently purchased by Bravio, which offers direct access to 250 million Indian mobile phone users.
“At Oulala, we are extremely pleased to welcome Bravio as new members of our expanding Daily Fantasy network for football,” said MD and co-founder Benjamin Carlotti.
“Since Fantasy Football is growing in India in terms of engaging sports fans and utilising their knowledge and skills, we think that our platform is exactly what they need.”
Bravio CTO Richard Boyd added: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to partner with team Oulala; we can now offer our large mobile Indian network the option to play Daily Fantasy Football.
“Mobimedia are a great asset to the group as they know how to communicate and operate in an emerging market very well.
“The Indian public loves football, and it is the logical step to offer them a skill-based DFS platform.”
India represents an attractive proposition for operators due to its massive populate and booming mobile penetration.
Stride Gaming announced similar plans to enter India last week, after buying a 51% stake in Rummy-focused firm Passion Gaming.
Oulala also recently announced a similar white label deal to target the African market.
