Paf introduces Swish payments for Swedish players
Operator joins LeoVegas in offering Sweden’s fastest payment method
Paf has introduced the Swish payments method for its Swedish players in an effort to diversify its offering.
Swish is used by 6.7 million Swedes and 180,000 local businesses and considered the fastest payment method available in the country.
Paf CEO Christer Fahlstedt said: “Swish is undoubtedly the Swedes’ favourite way of transferring money.
“We expect the strong growth we experienced in Sweden in 2018 to continue,” Fahlstedt said.
LeoVegas also recently launched with Swish in an effort to lower customer transactions costs and Betsson is in the process of adopting the system.
Speaking to EGR, LeoVegas CEO Gustaf Hagman said adding Swish was one example of the new opportunities operators had in the regulated Swedish market.
“This gives the customers a very smooth customer journey. We don’t charge the customers any payments fees so lowering the transactions cost will have a positive effect on our margins,” Hagman said.
